The GBI has increased its focus on Street Gang enforcement across Georgia, but needed resources to raise it's ability to investigate and assist in the prosecution of these gangs. Bert worked closely with GBI Director Vic Reynolds in bringing additional resources and abilities to his office so that the GBI may put all resources necessary to crack down on gangs. - SB 393: GBI expanded powers: (2020)
